Fixed-installed PV modules on flat roofs are usually poorly ventilated and therefore heat up greatly in summer, precisely during the time when they are most active. High module temperatures result in output losses of around 15–20%. The EcoChamp tracker ensure that the free-standing modules are ventilated as good as possible.
